The emergence of Marx’s view of wealth is closely related to its social and historical background, and it is a response to the increasingly serious problem of wealth in capitalism. Marx’s view of wealth is mainly contained in his economic thought, which is gradually formed in the course of his economic research. Marx’s view of wealth tells us that we should view common prosperity from the height of social form and promote common prosperity based on the primary stage of socialism; to promote common prosperity, we should deepen the understanding of wealth according to Marx’s definition of wealth, and establish a social and economic evaluation system to meet the needs of promoting common prosperity; under the condition that the non-public sector of the economy will continue to develop in the long run, we should promote common prosperity by creating and accumulating public wealth and expanding and enriching the supply of public services; to promote common prosperity, we must focus on the people, especially workers, and take human development as our fundamental goal; and we should create more natural wealth by protecting and improving the ecological environment, give full play to the role of scientific and technological innovation in creating social wealth, and enhance the wealth foundation for common prosperity.
