To understand the objective laws of social development consciously is internal driving force for the CPC to promote theoretical innovation continuously. In building socialism with Chinese characteristics, the CPC has gradually deepened the understanding to the “Three Laws”, namely, the law of human society development, the law of socialism building, and the law of CPC’s governance, and hence initiated the Chinese approach to modernization for building a modern socialist country and advancing national rejuvenation. Accurately revealing the connotation and essence of Chinese modernization, and incisively generalizing the essential requirements and major principles of Chinese modernization, the Chinese modernization theory is the latest achievement in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context, the major innovation in the theory and practice of world modernization. Chinese modernization is the socialist modernization led by the CPC, which means that Chinese modernization is internally connected with the “Three Laws”, and is definitely governed by the “Three Laws”. It is indispensable to analyze the historical connection and internal logic between the Chinese modernization theory and the “Three Laws” thoroughly for understanding the historical view of Chinese modernization accurately.
