Wang Weiguang, Ph.D., Executive Vice-president and Research Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

His academic interests consist of Marxist theory and philosophy and the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

He has published more than 30 academic books, including Selected Lectures of Wang Weiguang (Beijing: Central Party School Press, 2008), Self-selected Works of Wang Weiguang Beijing: Xuexi Publishing House, 2007), Study and Practice of the Scientific Outlook of Development (Beijing: Central Party School Press, 2006), Efficiency, Fairness and Harmony: Also on Contradictions among the People in the New Period and the Socialist Harmonious Society (Beijing: People’s Publishing House, 2006), On Interests (Beijing: People’s Publishing House, 2001), Economic Interests, Political Order and Social Stability: In-depth Reflections on Contradictions in Socialist Society Beijing: Central Party School Press, 1991) and Socialist Contradictions, Impetus and Reform (Harbin: Heilongjiang People’s Publishing House, 1988). He has also edited or co-edited and translated numerous works.
