The application of digital technology has profoundly changed the combination mode of labor and means of production, forming a new production mode with capital and information as the “double link”. Based on historical materialism, the application of digital technology has promoted the change of the mode of production in the two directions of “digital industrialization” and “industrial digitalization”, thus giving birth to the digital mode of production, and to a certain extent, it has changed the ownership of capitalist means of production, the relative position of economic subjects in production, and the product distributorship. Accurately grasping these changes is an inevitable requirement for promoting the development of China’s digital economy and optimizing policies for the information technology industry.
