What “the ecological view in Chinese modernization” or “the Chinese modernization characterized by harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature” attracts attention and discussion of Chinese academia lies not only in the contemporary Chinese background and context of building a harmonious relationship between humanity and nature in all aspects in the new era, but also in the close connection between Chinese modernization and ecology (harmonious coexistence between man and nature) as well as the huge theoretical innovation potential brought by the combination of the two. The theoretical connotations include two dimensions of factual induction and theoretical normative dimension. Therefore, it could be interpreted at least from three aspects as follows: the ecological modernization view based on modern China especially historical experience summary and reflection on the basis of economic and social modernization since the establishment of People’s Republic of China; the new vision of “beauty goal and task” of the grand blueprint of building China into a great modern socialist country in all aspects in the new era; the concept recognition and self-conscious pursuit of the green transformation or reshaping trend facing the world today. In the perceivable future, likewise other five unique views, ecology view of Chinese modernization remains a historical process which resorts to Chinese socialist ecological civilization construction practice and develop itself in the great practice gradually.
