Modernization has been the basic process of the development of human society in recent hundreds of years, especially since the 18th century, and it has shown the basic characteristics of transformation from traditional economy to modern economy, from traditional politics to modern politics, from traditional society to modern society, and from traditional civilization to modern civilization. Modernization is the only way for the development of human society and the progress of human civilization, and the realization of modernization is the goal and vision that all countries and peoples have always yearned for and relentlessly pursued. There is neither a single fixed model of modernization nor a universal standard of modernization.Chinese-style modernization not only has the common characteristics of the modernization of all countries, but also has Chinese characteristics based on its own national conditions. Fundamentally it is the socialist modernization led by the Communist Party of China. In the new era and new journey, focusing on the central task of the Communist Party of China, the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China made a scientific plan for the strategic layout of comprehensively building a socialist modern country, and formulated a systematic, specific, and clear mission statement, construction drawing, and timetable. The theory of Chinese-style modernization is the theoretical support for the strategic layout of building a socialist modernized country in an all-round way.
