The historical orientation of the new model for human advancement by the CPC in the course of human civilization is worthy of in-depth discussion. With a long-term theoretical exploration and breakthrough in practice, the CPC has successfully initiated, promoted and enriched Chinese modernization, thus creating a new model for human advancement during the combat, competition and cooperation between socialism and capitalism, the former is achieved in economical and cultural under-developed countries while the latter is leading the world pattern. As a modern civilization initiated to promote China’s socialist modernization, this new model not only shares both the common features of modern civilization and the unique Chinese characteristics, but also transcends the modern capitalist civilization. Having contributed Chinese wisdom, Chinese solution and Chinese strength to human civilization, this model is going to develop into the communist civilization through exchange and mutual learning with modern capitalist civilization.
