The courage of the Communist Party of China(CPC) in undertaking self-revolution is a hallmark that distinguishes it from other political parties. The CPC not only has progressive and pure gene of revolutionary, but also has the fine tradition of “correcting mistakes” through self-revolution. In the new journey of the new era, the CPC is still facing such great challenges as “nature-changing”, “color-changing” and “the character-changing”. Therefore, it shoulders heavy responsibility of self-revolution, which is to be carried out in all respects at full capacity. The CPC’s self-revolution in all respects is not without foundation, but is rooted in its struggle for a century, especially its experience of self-revolution in the new era. It also draws upon General Secretary Xi Jinping’s strategic thought on CPC-s self-revolution. It is the crystallization of the latest achievements of the Party’s theoretical innovation and great practice of party building, and a major innovative achievement of the sinicization of Marxist thought on self-revolution of proletarian parties.
