Since the outbreak of the COVID-19,a wave of strikes has swept through major countries in Europe and the United States, with the United Kingdom,France, and the United States staging almost simultaneous general strikes,and large-scale protests that have occurred one after another and continue to this day. This paper examines the representative workers’ strike movements in the United Kingdom,France and the United States in 2020-2022,seeking to analyze the strike wave triggered by the COVID-19 in major European and American countries from the Marxist perspective,and gains insight into the deeper problems of the capitalist system, Marxism has always been close to the core rights and interests of the proletariat and has directly pointed to the real demands of the proletariat, The Marxist theory of the proletarian movement is not outdated and still guide the direction of the workers’ movement in the major European and American countries under the conditions of contemporary capitalism, The purpose of this paper is to emphasize the real demands of the modern working class and highlight the contemporary value of Marx's theory of the proletariat, so as to reveal the nature of the capitalist system
